Quick question:
From what I have read so far everything seems to indicate that to use Uberagent I require to have Splunk.
Is that correct?

uberAgent supports Elasticsearch, Azure Monitor, Apache Kafka, and Azure Data Explorer, too. See https://uberagent.com/docs/uberagent/latest/installation/backend/
Splunk is the only backend where dashboards are available. For the backends listed above, you would have to create dashboards on your own.
Note that there is a community project for Elasticsearch/Kibana dashboards: https://uberagent.com/blog/xoap-releases-free-elasticsearch-kibana-dashboards-for-uberagent/
